Privacy Policy
Your data, your control.
At Daily Fordo, we prioritize a "local-first" approach. This means your data primarily lives on your device, giving you maximum control and privacy. We only collect the absolute minimum data necessary to provide synchronization features if you choose to enable them.
1. Information We Collect
Email address and encrypted password hash for authentication.
Encrypted blobs of your tasks. We cannot decrypt this content.
Anonymous aggregated data to help us improve stability.
2. How We Store Data
Your task data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. When syncing, data is transmitted over SSL/TLS and stored in encrypted format on our secure servers located in Virginia, USA. We utilize industry-standard AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of all data associated with your account at any time. You may also disable Usage Metrics in the app settings without affecting core functionality.
Terms of Service
Rules of engagement.
By accessing or using Daily Fordo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
2. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Daily Fordo and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
3. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Data Deletion Policy
Right to be forgotten.
We respect your right to be forgotten. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so directly from within the application or by contacting support.
In-App Deletion
Recommended- Open Daily Fordo Settings
- Navigate to Account & Security
- Scroll to the "Danger Zone"
- Click Delete Account
Support Request
If you cannot access the app, please email us with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
